The Planning department at Sandwell Council is responsible for decisions around land use and development in our borough. They make sure the spaces around buildings are used responsibly, always taking people, businesses, communities and the environment into consideration.
Sandwell Council has been consulting the public in developing a new Local Plan for Sandwell. The Sandwell Local Plan will set out the different policies that guide development and land use for at least the next 15 years.
